Once the darlings of the EV world, Teslas are making international headlines thanks to CEO and DOGE leader Elon Musk.

A quick recap: Throughout the past few months, Cybertrucks, Teslas, and charging stations have been vandalized across the US. Some dealerships have seen protests, gunshots, spray-painted cars, and even arson — including a dealership in France where a dozen Teslas were torched.

Considering all this, it's no surprise that many folks who bought their Teslas years ago are regretting their purchase. One Reddit user wrote, "I bought my Tesla in 2021. I fucking hate Elon Musk, and I'll never support Tesla again. I love my Tesla, but I will be discussing it with my wife tonight if we should sell or keep it. I would have never bought a Tesla had I known Musk was such a filthy fucking pile of shit."

Another person said, "I own a Tesla — bought it five years ago, won't be buying another one. If I sell it, someone else buys it, drives it, and nothing else really changes except I now have to go through the pain in the ass of buying another car. Will I be buying another Tesla, a Powerwall, Starlink, or anything else from one of his companies? Nope. Got fooled once, and that's enough for me."

Yet another said, "I bought mine before Musk went totally off the rails, and I regret the purchase. However, depreciation is a real thing, and I don't have the financial freedom to take a huge loss selling my vehicle. Instead, I simply won't give Tesla any more money going forward, and my next vehicle upgrade will probably come sooner than it may have otherwise."

For the people keeping their cars, many are going as far as adding bumper stickers to inform others that they don't support Elon. Folks across various subreddits have been posting stickers they come across IRL. This one reads: "I bought this before Elon went crazy."

Over on Etsy, a quick search revealed TONS of anti-Elon stickers and magnets for sale, labeled with "bestseller" and "popular" — from a rainbow sign crossing out Elon's name...

In the reviews, plenty of customers praised the stickers. "A great way to show that the people in our Tesla DO NOT support President Musk," one person wrote. Another said, "Perfect way to be able to drive my Tesla without shame."

On a recent episode of The Daily Show, Ricky Velez poked fun at the whole situation.

However, people in the comments had conflicting reactions, with some believing that "stickers are not enough."

Others said they don't judge people with Teslas.

And some Tesla owners even chimed in, explaining that they're stuck with the cars for now.
