In partnership with Home Depot, the Veterans Arts Society held a collaborative effort to restore a senior veteran's back deck to ensure safety and easy use of their home.
Executive Director of the Veterans Arts Society Marvin James expressed the impact of the volunteer effort.
“We believe that healing through art and service can make a profound impact,” said James. “This project is about more than just building a deck, it’s about building connections, fostering purpose, and giving back to those who have sacrificed for our freedom.”

This event is just one of the many projects and initiatives organized by the Veterans Art Society.
